As a little girl, I spent hours in the kitchen watching my grandmother cook. Everyone cooks in my family – men, women, and children. I moved to the US in 1996 from France where I was born and raised. I spent the last 13 years as a stay-at-home mom raising my 4 wonderful children; Madeline, Jeremy, Margot and Jonathan. What better place than the Maryland town of Sykesville to open the French Twist Café! Downtown Sykesville reminds me a lot of France. While walking down Main Street, you will find many little stores, hair salons, antique stores, boutiques, furniture, and restaurants. They are delicious, fun to eat, nutritious, and also very French! This was the perfect choice!
I’m proud and excited to open the French Twist Café in downtown Sykesville and to be able to serve my community with extraordinary coffees and delicious French cuisine. I am looking forward to meeting my customers and getting to know every single one of them. My goal is to create a place where the people feel welcome and comfortable, where they can enjoy:
